Important Information on Registration
Please ensure your online registration form is completed and your fees are paid by March 30, 2025.

Make sure to complete all applicable sections of your registration form. When finished push the “submit” button at the end of the form.
Registrations will close on March 30th, 2025 at midnight.
Don’t forget to read over and complete the Safety and Ethics Form, Mentor Form, etc. (where applicable) as part of your registration process. Please email them to [email protected]

Grades 4-6 participants:
- You must register online at msss.mb.ca
- You must create a Science Fair Project Backboard Display for your in-person presentation at the MSSS event.
- No virtual ProjectBoard is required.
Grades 7-12 participants:
- You must register online at msss.mb.ca
- You must create a ProjectBoard account/page (for those who did not participate in 2021 – 2024). Make sure to include the URL link to your project on the registration form. After you have completed your ProjectBoard presentation, set it to PUBLIC VIEWING. If you have a partner, set them as co-owners on your ProjectBoard.
- You must create an in-person backboard for your presentation at the MSSS event.

Log in to your ProjectBoard account from last year to create and post your project virtually. Make sure to include your ProjectBoard URL on the registration form. This is important! Your ProjectBoard does not need to be linked to the YSC portal. Only the CWSF finalists must link their ProjectBoard to the YSC portal for registration after the fair.
So:
- Grades 4-6 students: Backboard required for the in-person event only.
- Grades 7-12 students: Backboard required for the in-person event and virtually through ProjectBoard. https://mystemspace.ca/start-a-project/resources/ Do not forget to set it to public viewing after you have completed and saved your work.
