Want to get involved? Volunteers are needed!

We’re always looking for new committee members, judges, and volunteers with a passion for sharing their love of science! No matter your level of scientific skill, there is a role for you in our dynamic organization. Love numbers? Consider a position on our fundraising team. Love games? Why not try out a role as a leader for our beginner science olympics! Are you an NWORSF alumnus with a passion for engaging our students? Teachers would love to have you mentor budding scientists, or wow a class with the details of your amazing science career! Do you have some “mad science” skills? 😉 We’re always on the lookout for experts to constructively judge our regional fair!

As committee members move on to new adventures, we desperately need new ideas and motivated individuals with a passion for science to join our committee.  It is more than just community service, it is an amazing opportunity to learn from our students as well, and 2 delegates/chaperones get to accompany our region’s nationalists at the Canada-Wide Science Fair each year!
