Participant Registration

Prior to registering, please ensure your project meets the criteria of one of these Youth Science Canada project categories:

Innovation: Develop and evaluate new devices, models, theorems, physical theories, techniques, or methods in technology, engineering, computing, natural science, or social science.

Discovery (Experiments or Studies): Undertake an investigation to test a scientific hypothesis by the experimental method. At least one independent variable is manipulated; other variables are controlled.

In addition, all projects entered into the Saskatoon Regional Science Fair must have the following components: SRSF-Project-Requirements

Please note that ProjectBoard is REQUIRED to participate in the Saskatoon Regional Science Fair. The YSC portal will state is is optional. This is untrue. Unfortunately, in order to balance providing you with as much possible time to work on your project AND collecting essential information on your project to organize judges, this statement cannot be altered. Please see the “important dates” tab for all due dates.
