Welcome!

The Rotary Algoma STEM Fair presented by Tenaris welcomes students from grades 7 to 12 to share their interest in science with their peers, local experts, and our community. This community event encourages students to explore the world around them while exposing them to the scientific method through practical application. Students are able take a “hands on” approach on a topic specific to them, giving them an opportunity to express creativity, resourcefulness, and initiative. The judging portion of the fair gives students the opportunity to practice their communication and presentation skills with members of the scientific community. Our goal is to provide a meaningful way for students to have fun with science, technology, engineering, math, and their peers.

Participants have the opportunity to win awards, cash prizes, and the opportunity to attend the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Edmonton!
