The Okanagan Shuswap Regional STEM Fair

In collaboration with WWEST,
at the University of British Columbia Okanagan,
we are excited to host our first Regional STEM Fair
on March 10, 2026

Student Final Registration has opened!  Please head to the Registration Tab Above to Access Link and Registration Guide!

The Okanagan Shuswap Regaion STEM Fair is open to students from grades 3-12, attending public schools, FNSA affiliated schools, Independent Schools, and home-schools, living within the region’s communities that correspond to School Districts 19, 22, 23, 53, 67, and 83.

Science/Technology fairs are a chance for students to work on a project related to some aspect of science, typically an experiment, innovation or study. The students’ work is presented at a science fair and the students are evaluated on their scientific thought, originality, understanding, and the exhibit itself.

The best projects in each category are given awards and the best projects in the fair will move on to the Canada-Wide Science Fair, all expenses paid. CWSF 2026 will be held in Edmonton from May 23rd to 30th, 2026.
